Strange Meats: The Soupie

The Philadelphia premiere of Strange Meats: The Soupie, a film by Matt Spade is on Saturday January 3rd 2015, at 8pm.

The documentary asks a few questions about the Pennsylvania Coal Region's coveted meat: the soupie. Join narrator Tom Kutza, as he takes us on a journey to find the answers to what makes this meat special.

Immediately following the screening, PIFVA's Sean McNight will lead a panel discussion with Director Matt Spade, DiBruno Bros' Emilio Mignucci, and more featured guests from the film.

Admission is $6. Light refreshments and a soupie tasting will follow the presentation and discussion.
