Butchery & Knife Skills with Dave the Butcher, Part I: Chicken
Urban Kitchen's favorite butcher, Dave (the Butcher), will lead the class in learning basic knife skills while navigating the anatomy of a chicken. Chicken is an excellent meat for a butchery class, in part because it is so commonly used in home cooking. It's also a very manageable animal, and each participant will work on his/her own entire bird.
This is the first of a three-part knife skills series, and participants will have an opportunity to build on their knowledge in future classes. Those who take this class will be grouped with others in their skill level for the remainder of the series, as well as receiving a discount for future butchery classes.
