Moroccan founders of the group, Fattah and Mohammed, have played the globe in art capitals such as Montreal, Chicago, Paris and Casablanca. Featured at our own Cabrillo Art and Music Festival, the sound drew from all corners to fill the seats, it is mysterious, haunting, soulful and been described as "revolutionary" by the Madison World Music Festival.
"An evening with AZA" is a benefit for Building for Generations, whose mission is to support education projects for persons with special needs. Our current projects are in Tanzania, Africa, Chincha Baja, Peru and in Santa Cruz California. Building for Generations was founded in 2005 by the parent of a young adult with a developmental disability and carries on its work with a board of 8 members and a wonderful community of volunteers. For more information about this goodwill adventure go to www.buildingforgenerations.com
The evening will also feature a JEWELRY AND CRAFT SALE TABLE FEATURING FAIR TRADE ITEMS FOR PURCHASE.
