High Falls Film Festival

Founded in 2001, the High Falls Film Festival, held in the birthplace of the women's rights movement and motion picture film, provides an ideal backdrop for a festival dedicated to bringing a female perspective to the big screen. It is one of the few film festivals worldwide that focuses exclusively on showcasing and celebrating the best independent films made by women, or films representing a woman's viewpoint, voice, and experience. The Festival's mission is to celebrate the achievements of women in all aspects of filmmaking, through programs that recognize the best work of female cinematic artists. The Festival features filmmakers, celebrity guests, and an immersive program of narrative, documentary, short and children's films; along with panels, workshops, and discussions.
