Land Trust of North Alabama

Land Trust of North Alabama, Alabama's first land trust, preserves land, fresh water resources, and habitat for recreation, health, education, and conservation.  The Land Trust currently provides 60  miles of mulit-use public trails on five Nature Preserves for residents and visitors to enjoy and explore. Three Caves is but one feature of the Monte Sano Nature Preserve. Currently at 1,107 acres, this flagship nature preserve is the backdrop for downtown Huntsville and is one of the largest urban nature preserves in the US. The Land Trust is a nationally accredited land trust dedicated to outstanding land stewardship, environmental education, and outreach.
