In the early 1990s, "The Native American Warrior" Tatanka burst onto the WWF scene and quickly rose up the ranks and became one of the top stars in the company. After an impressive almost two year undefeated streak as a fan favorite, Tatanka "sold out" and joined Ted DiBiase's Million Dollar Corporation out of frustration for not receiving the title shots he thought he deserved. He spent another year and a half feuding with top stars such as Lex Luger,Bam Bam Bigelow and Bret "Hitman" Hart before leaving the company in early 1996. Tatanka spent the next several years touring the world working for various promotions around the globe. In 2005, he made a surprise return to the WWE where he spent another almost 2 years as a top star on the Smackdown brand. In early 2007 he left the company again and returned to the independent circuit. He continues to make sporadic appearances today for WWE including a strong showing in the 2008 Royal Rumble and the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania 32.
