Two of today's hottest bands from the Philippines, December Avenue & juan karlos, on a special tour of the West side of the U.S.!
December Avenue is a 5-piece indie rock/pop rock band from Manila, Philippines known for their light and soft rock compositions. The band is composed of Zel Bautista on vocals and guitars, Jem Manuel on guitars, Don Gregorio on bass, Jet Danao on drums and backing vocals, and Gelo Cruz on keyboards and backing vocals. Started out in Manila's indie music scene in 2007, the band finally started breaking thru the mainstream in 2017 with their single, "Kahit Di Mo Alam", followed by "Sa Ngalan Ng Pag-Ibig" and "Bulong". Their biggest hit to date is "Kung Di Rin Lang Ikaw", a collaboration with Moira Dela Torre. Their current single, "Huling Sandali", is the theme song of the movie, "Tayo Sa Huling Buwan Ng Taon"
juan karlos is a Filipino rock band from Manila, Philippines, consisting of lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Juan Karlos Labajo, lead guitarist Marcus Ambat, bassist Clark Cunanan and drummer Gian Hipolito. The band first gained massive exposure with the release of their second single "Buwan".
Lead vocalist Juan Karlos Labajo (aka JK) is also an actor. He is co-managed by MCA Music Inc. (Philippines) and ABS-CBN's Star Magic. He auditioned for ABS-CBN's reality singing competition, "The Voice Kids (Philippines)" (Season 1) and he finished 3rd place under the mentorship of Coach Bamboo (Kamp Kawayan). After his stint in "The Voice Kids", he debuted his acting career in the drama anthology, "Maalaala Mo Kaya" as himself for his own life story. He also played the role of 'Charles Kenneth "CK" Rodriguez' in "Hawak-Kamay" (2014), 'Vincent "Amboy" Mobido' in "Pangako Sa 'Yo" (2015-2016) and 'Lucas Noble' in "A Love to Last" (2017). The band is currently promoting their fourth single, "Biyak"
