Queen and King of Huka Pele
Become the first Queen or King of Huka Pele!! Are you friendly, outgoing, and the epitome of midcentury tiki chic? Then we are looking for you and your kind, positive, compassionate, and professional demeanor to represent Huka Pele as the inaugural Queen or King! Not just a popularity contest or beauty pageant, Queen and King of Huka Pele will be chosen based on love of tiki culture, community involvement, and inner beauty as well.
Please read the information on rules and requirements carefully before applying! Don't forget to fill out and submit the contest submission form! Email contests@hukapele.com to get the submission form link!
Submissions are open to all (21 or older.)
Once submissions close, the judges will pick 10 finalists for each contest.
Finalists will be chosen based on their bio entries. In addition to basic biographical information include: hobbies, social clubs, community work, charity participation, or any additional information that you feel would provide judges with an idea to learn more about who you are and what you are passionate about. Feel free to think creatively, but most importantly, be yourself. We encourage entries from any and all shapes and sizes from around the globe. Good Luck!!! We look forward to reading all about you
Rules for Online Entry:
Deadline for submission entry and payment is August 1st 11:59pm
Contestants must be 21 years of age or older.
Photos may not contain nudity.
All submissions require a $20 non-refundable fee. Submission is not valid until payment is received. To be considered payment must be received by submission deadline.
Finalists must have a public profile (Details to be emailed.)
All finalists must share and promote their involvement as a contestant ( a promo will be provided for each contestant to share with their family and friends!)
All finalists must follow the contest codes of conduct (to be emailed)
All finalists must submit a professional photo for promotional use
All finalists must sign a release for use of their image by Huka Pele
Finalists will be evaluated on their:
Styling and Presentation
Stage Presence
Tikitastic Wardrobe
Originality
Crowd Appeal
All finalists will receive a gift bag courtesy of our sponsors during Huka Pele, as well as entrance into the Weekender. (Finalists that have already purchased Huka Pele entry will be reimbursed.). The top 3 winners will receive generous prize packages from our sponsors and cash prizes!
