Introduction to the Gurdjieff Work - First Meeting
The Gurdjieff Foundation of Arizona will be hosting a series of three introductory meetings for those interested in learning more about the system of ideas for spiritual development taught by G.I. Gurdjieff.
This first meeting will be held at our Phoenix Studio, Sunday, February 19 at 3pm. The second and third meetings will be held February 26 and March 5, also at 3pm.
These meetings are free but seating is limited and registration is required.
These introductory meetings will explore the Gurdjieff group work, which includes inner exercises, questions and answers, movements, music and reading.
******************** A century ago, G.I. Gurdjieff first taught a system of esoteric ideas and practical methods designed to provide modern man an opportunity for self development.
This oral tradition is preserved by a small number of individuals dedicated to the search for objective self knowledge and understanding of man's place and function in creation.
The Gurdjieff Foundation of Arizona is part of the Foundation established by Mr. Gurdjieff and Madame de Salzmann in Paris and New York.
