Terry Waldo is widely regarded as one of Americas foremost interpreters of Ragtime and Early Jazz. A virtuoso pianist, engaging vocalist, and masterful entertainer, he brings charm and history to every performance. As the protégé of legendary pianist Eubie Blake, who called him an extension of my own musical self, Waldo has carried the torch of early American jazz for decades. His piano stylerooted in ragtime and strideis paired with witty storytelling and an encyclopedic knowledge of the genre.
Waldo has graced stages around the world, from Venices Grand Parade du Jazz to Carnegie Hall, Jazz at Lincoln Center, and countless iconic New York clubs. His Gotham City Band features some of the citys finest traditional jazz musicians, creating a joyful, hard-swinging sound thats perfect for a festive night out.
