The On Key series was born out of a desire to celebrate the vast amount of local talent that exists all along the shores of Lake Ontario.

The series also highlights Melodia, a new and under-appreciated venue in the heart of Burlington. Our hope is to build an artistic hub that will continue to support the growth of new local talent.

Thompson & Shea Jazz Duo:

The duo began performing together at various venues such as jazz clubs, restaurants, lounges, casinos, festivals, private and corporate events, nearly a decade ago. Their experience and love of music is evident when audiences witness their performances. The duo's set list includes jazz standards as well as jazz renditions of contemporary music.

Tiffany Thompson is a versatile singer who has performed professionally for over twenty years. Although versed in many genres, the deep rich tone of her voice is especially suited to jazz and complements Shea delightfully.

Jamie Shea studied jazz at Mohawk College and has been performing professionally for more than twenty years. Jamie has been influenced by jazz guitarists like Ed Bickert and Sonny Greenwich. Shea doesn't feel the need to fill up the musical landscape with notes that don't belong. He likes to let them breathe so they can be savored like a good wine.

Advanced tickets to the show are $10 each ($15 at the Door), or $35 for Dinner & Show packages. On Key series packages are also available by calling Andrew at 289-921-5295.
