Canzona Takes Flight
Our spring concert takes its theme from our upcoming tour to the Tapestry International Celebration of Women's Choirs hosted by Elektra Women's Choir in Vancouver, Canada. Canzona will take flight on April 29th to participate in two gala concerts, and in this performance, you will have the chance to hear the repertoire the choir will present, both as a featured ensemble and as part of a massed choir of 120 voices. We will showcase the Canadian premiere of Dr. Meredith Brammeier's To the God of Light and Shadow as well as perform other repertoire by distinguished American composers. The concert will feature Jerry Boots, trumpet.
