Bemidji Symphony Orchestra presents "Tinsel, Tunes and Treasures"
Usher in the season with our annual Holiday concert, conducted by Dr. Beverly Everett! "Tinsel, Tunes and Treasures" includes bright and joyful Christmas favorites such as Carol of the Drum by Katherine Davis, Leroy Anderson's Christmas Festival, Sleigh Ride, White Christmas, Let it Snow and Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas. Also included is music from Charlie Brown's Christmas and How the Grinch Stole Christmas.
Warm up your vocal chords and join in singing selected timeless choruses from Handel's Messiah. (We'll have some Messiah scores on hand for you to borrow, but if you have your own score, we invite you to bring it along.) Rounding out the festive program will be Johann Sebastian Bach's Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring and the Chorale Prelude Wachet Auf, as well as a Christmas Carol sing-along.
Tickets are available at the door the evening of the concert, in advance at Lueken's Foods North and South, or at brownpapertickets.com. Prices are $20 for adults, $15 for senior citizens 62+, and $10 for college students with ID. Students grades K12 are admitted free. All seats are general admission. Doors open for seating at 7:00 pm.
