Los Pinguos
Originally from Argentina, in Los Angeles since 2001, Los Pinguos will bring their vivacious fusion of vocals and South American rhythms to the Annex stage. Rising stars on L.A. club circuit, Los Pinguos have been Grand Prize winners on "The Next Big Star," and their music is featured on several TV and film soundtracks including "The Shield" and the documentary "Playing for Change" and the film "Imagining Argentina" with Antonio Banderas & Emma Thompson. www.lospinguos.com
