Shoreline CC Music Dept. Prism Concert
Every performing group in the Shoreline Community College Music Department will participate along with several solo features. The concert is done "in-the-round" with performers located at the front, sides, and back of the audience. Not a word is spoken during the concert as one performance situation merges into the next with little hesitation. Usually this concert lasts a little under an hour.
This will be the first year we are planning to present the concert two nights in a row. All proceeds from the event are returned to students in the form of tuition scholarships. Interestingly, most of the material performed will be different on Friday than on Thursday.
