Kidrockers presents Chris Barron and Locksley 12:00 and 1:30 shows
NEW YORK, NY -- January 2, 2007 (Tubbys Entertainment) -- KIDROCKERS is pleased to announce that its first two shows will take place on Sunday, January 14 at noon and 1:30 pm at The Underground Lounge, 995 West End Ave. (between 106th and 107th street), NY, NY.
KIDROCKERS brings some of the most engaging artists in indie music and comedy to children and their parents. Artists will perform original songs (not specifically made for children) in a manner that is both authentic and kid-friendly. Sponsor, Hasbro, Inc., has donated entertaining games and toys to use and give away at the shows. Burgers and pizza will be available at the Underground Lounge restaurant after the show.

CHRIS BARRON appears on both January 14th shows. As lead singer of the Grammy- nominated SPIN DOCTORS, Chris has graced the cover of Rolling Stone Magazine, opened for the Rolling Stones, played arenas throughout the world and appeared on Sesame Street. ChrisâÂÂs soon to be released solo record âÂÂPancho and the Kidâ showcases ChrisâÂÂs incredible and instantly recognizable voice and legendary songwriting and storytelling skills. LOCKSLEY will also appear on both January 14th shows â two days before the release of DON'T MAKE ME WAIT. The Wisconsin born, Brooklyn- based quartet's single "WHY NOT ME?" is the theme song for the MTV show of the same name and has been in heavy rotation on MTVu for weeks. Comic-actor SETH HERZOG hosts each of the 75 minute shows. Seth's long running weekly show "Sweet" is a staple of the downtown alternative comedy scene and he appears regularly on VH1, MTV and Comedy Central. www.myspace.com/sethherzog
