MARY TRAVERS MEMORIAL CONCERT-Leukemia Lymphoma Benefit

I was so Sad to hear of Mary's Passing
Mary Travers was certainly one of my favorite singers throughout my entire life.
spanning 40 years.
Another 40 would not have been enough.
I am a singer myself and was PRIVELEDGED to be included on a compilation CD with MARY TRAVERS just recently.
It is a fundraiser for Leukemia and Lymphoma called
'As Long as Im Here'
Most of us on it are either survivors of some
form of cancer
as I am or have been touched very closely by cancer
with the loss of a Loved one.

Mary passing from the side effects of Chemo administered to fight her re-occurring Leukemia, sadly makes THREE of those performers who have now moved on since the CD was put together.

I would like to believe that theirs is the ULTIMATE DEFEAT of the Disease
and that Now that they are Truly Cancer Free!

Siusan's song "Another Day" has been included on this CD and has
also been sold as a single throughout the United States as a Hospice Benefit.
She is also the founder of the Cancer Stinks Roadshow.
Zig and Siusan tour throughout the US and Ireland
and are regarded as one of the best
Irish American Duos in the country today.
Siusan writes in both the Americana genre as well as the Irish tradition and
brings to her original music a sense of life as we all know it.
