Jazz Deconstructed, the newest series at the New Mexico Jazz Workshop aims to present jazz, recontextualized! Amani Malaika and Luis Guerra mix vocals, loops and live instruments to create a new sound that is strangely familiar and wildly new, freeing the true nature of jazz, which is mutable, changeable.
