Bare! True Stories of Sex, Desire and Romance brings together storytellers, comedians, sex educators and others to share true tales from their own experiences of sex, desire and romance. With stories as diverse as the people telling them, Bare! opens doors to bedrooms, back seats and dungeons to tell what your mama left out about the birds, bees and in-betweens.

Jefferson is the curator and host of Bare!, regularly in Boston, New York, Philadelphia and Washington, D.C. A sex educator and writer, Jefferson keeps a pseudonymous blog, One Life, Take Two, that details his life as a parent and pervert. He is a storyteller frequently seen on stages around New York and elsewhere, including The Moth, where he is a StorySLAM winner. He is also host of Foreplay! A Sexy Storytelling Open Mic, biweekly at the Delancey in New York.
Lucas Connolly has been seen performing in the Comedy Central's New York and South Beach Comedy Festivals, recently recorded a national commercial for Joe's Crab Shack and has been featured on the front page of Reddit multiple times and has been seen by a million people around the world.
Robin Gelfenbien is a writer, comedian and storyteller who has written jokes for Rosie O'Donnell and starred in a commercial directed by Spike Lee. She has appeared on Vh1, Sirius Radio and AMC, and her critically-acclaimed solo show, My Salvation Has a First Name (A Wienermobile Journey), premiered at the New York International Fringe Festival. Robin is the creator of the monthly storytelling series, Yum's the Word, that features her homemade ice cream cakes. She is also the co-host and co-producer of the storytelling/reading series One To Grow On. Robin is currently working on a memoir about her life on the Hot Dog Highway.
Harmon Leon is the author of six books, including: The Harmon Chronicles, Republican Like Me, The Infiltrator, National Lampoon's Road Trip USA and The American Dream. His stories have appeared in Esquire, VICE, National Geographic, Salon, The Nation, Huffington Post, NPR's, This American Life, Details, Maxim, SF Chronicle, Penthouse, Cosmopolitan and Wired. Harmon has performed comedy around the world, including the Edinburgh, Melbourne, Dublin, Vancouver and Montreal Comedy Festivals. He's appeared on The Howard Stern Show, Last Call With Carson Daly, Penn & Teller's Bullshit, Spike TV, VH1, FX, as well as the BBC. Harmon also co-starred with the infamous OJ Simpson on a hidden camera reality show called Juiced! He's produced video content for FX, Daily Mail, National Lampoon, Current TV, Fox Family Channel, VH1, Strike TV and Incredible Features.
Afterbirth Monkey is a comedy band based out of Astoria. They derive everything they do from intoxication and magic. You should exercise caution when crossing the street for tacos at the taco truck while intoxicated because Afterbirth Monkey will be waiting there and you will probably want to do it with them while you wait for your order.
