The Shea Theater Presents Pat & Tex LaMountain and Friends
Pat & Tex LaMountain will present a CD Release Concert and Thanksgiving
Celebration at the Shea Theater, 71 Avenue A, Turners Falls, MA at 3 pm
Sunday, November 23rd.
The show will celebrate the release of "rivers, roads & bridges" the
couple's 8th release on Greenfield's Garden Gate Recordings, and will
feature Pat & Tex with band members John White on bass and Rick Mauran
on drums, along with special guests who performed on the CD.

Pat & Tex will be joined on stage by Producer/engineer/
multi-instrumentalist  Anand Nayak  (guitarist/vocalist with Rani Arbo's
"daisy mayhem", Polly Fiveash & Anand Nayak), Fiddlers Zoe Darrow
(Fiddleheads, Gaslight Tinkers, & Tim Ericksen/The Trio de Pumpkintown)
and  Chris Brashear  (fiddle/mandolin with Robin & Linda Williams,
Perfect Strangers and others ) and pianist/composer  Jerry Noble  (Smith
College staff pianist, Bob Sparkman & Jerry Noble duo).

The CD, was recorded primarily at Sonelab Studio, Easthampton with Anand
Nayak producing and engineering with additional recording at Sackamusic
Studio in Conway . rivers, roads & bridges features 12 songs, 10
originals, that highlight Pat & Tex's original blend of Americana,
country, folk and swing. Many of the the songs were inspired by local
events... Tractor State of Mind describes in part an encounter with a
slow moving tractor in Hawley, MA; Down The River, a tragicomical
response to losing a Hawley camp to Tropical Storm Irene; The Sunderland
Bridge Softshoe features the iron bridge over the Connecticut River; and
Somewhere Down the Road could be set in Greenfield, or one of many "old
train towns" in the valley. The concert is a unique once in a lifetime
chance to hear this fine group of musicians together and the show will
feature many surprises beyond the CD selections.
