Growing Cities: A Film about Urban Farming in America
Come and watch Growing Cities, an urgent film about the future of farming in America, and stay for lively discussion afterwards. Meet the men and women who are challenging the way this country grows and distributes its food -- one vacant city lot, rooftop garden, and backyard chicken coop at a time.
FREE admission with a suggested donation to Cultivating Community. The film is 90 minutes, to be shown at Osher Hall beginning at 4:05pm. Doors will open at 3:30, with locally sourced snacks from Rosemont to be served in lobby. Discussion will follow.
