Soprano Paula Wilder, Tenor Ben Bongers and pianist Robert Ashens
Fort Bragg Center for the Arts Music Series presents Soprano Paula Wilder, Tenor Ben Bongers and pianist Robert Ashens. Paula Wilder is known in Mendocino from her beautiful solo performances with the Festival and her recent appearance with the Symphony singing Mahler's Songs of a Wayfarer. Both Ms. Wilder and Ben Bongers have performed leading opera roles in the U.S. and in Europe. They will perform duets from the operatic repertoire including the thrilling duet from Strauss' opera, Ariadne auf Naxos. Well known opera conductor, Robert Ashens, will accompany the singers.
