Chase Jackson Quartet
The Chase Jackson Quartet is comprised of four powerhouse young musicians with firm Bay Area roots. Though strongly rooted in the tonality of acoustic small group jazz, CJQ has a distinct voice. Through a unique repertoire of original compositions, this band strikes a delicate balance between elaborate arrangements and improvisatory prowess. Individually, members of the ensemble have performed at numerous internationally known venues such as The Montreux Jazz Festival, The Monterey Jazz Festival, Yoshi's, Nighttown, and clubs throughout Asia, South America and Europe.
