The MoveMeant
BROWNBOX in association with Danny Long DANCE proudly present a preview performance of The MoveMeant, a dance/theatre piece inspired by the 10th Anniversary of the WTO protests that rocked Seattle in November of 1999.
The MoveMeant is a Seattle story, that takes the audience on a journey through the interconnected stories of 9 people during the WTO protests - a union leader organizing a peaceful protest, a landlord seeking answers, a delegate lost in the fray, a soldier doing his duty, a police officer trying to do hers and a student attempting to making an "artful" statement with tragic consequences.
These stories and more make up The MoveMeant.
