This famed piece from George Frideric Handel fits perfectly in our 79th season which features music from John, Paul, George and Wolfgang.
Composed in a mere 24 days, Messiah continues to be Handel's most popular work and may well be the most performed classical work of all time.
Our traditional holiday performance will feature the 60 singers of the Choral Society of Pensacola, the Choral Society of Pensacola Orchestra, and four excellent guest soloists, all under the baton of Choral Society Artistic Director, Xiaolun Chen.
Soloists include Carla Connors, soprano; Monika Cosson, mezzo-soprano; Thomas Rowell, tenor; and Patrick Jacobs, bass-baritone.
