Event
Piano Concert at UOP
Virtuosic pianist Andy Canepa explores two contrasting sides of Mozart and the poetic majesty and power of Chopin. The program commences with the Rondo in a minor and then proceeds to the shining Sonata in C major, k. 330 by Mozart. The second half displays works by Chopin, including the passionately romantic Barcarolle op. 60, the tranquil, yet stirring Nocturne in Db Major op. 27 no.2, as well as the king of the ballades: the fourth Ballade in f minor op 52.
