FOUR SHEETS TO THE WIND

Cufe Smallhill (Cody Lightning), a Seminole-Cree from Oklahoma, finds his father dead beside a bottle of pills, he fulfills his promise to sink the body in the family pond. The action begins, leading Cufe to the big city of Tulsa with his sister Miri (Tamara Podemski).
In 2007 FOUR SHEETS TO THE WIND, premiered at the Sundance Film Festival. The film garnered warm responses from both audiences and critics. Tamara Podemski won a Special Jury Prize for outstanding performance for her role in the film as Miri Smallhill. Post Performance discussion with the filmmaker Sterlin Harjo.
Those under the age of 17 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
This screening of FOUR SHEETS TO THE WIND is a part of Indigenous Voices, a program of Pangea World Theater Co-Presented by Intermedia Arts through the Catalyst Series.
