Take red-hot fiddling and sparkling mandolin playing, mix in 88-key banjo picking, nail it to the floor with driving bass and rhythm guitar, top it off with big gutsy vocals, and you have Diana Donnelly and the Yes Maams.
Black Crown Stringband is a colorful group of musical compatriots coming from both worlds of Bluegrass as well as Old-Time music and meeting somewhere in the middle. Their musical menu consists of fiddle driven old-time numbers, twisted up bluegrass standards and plain old straight ahead mountain music.
