Erik Jekabson Quartet with John Santos
The Sound Room is excited to present the Erik Jekabson Quartet with special guest, John Santos on percussion.
The quartet (Erik Jekabson, trumpet, Dahveed Behroozi, piano, John Wiitala,bass, Smith Dobson, drums) joins master percussionist and bandleader John Santos to play Erik's original music and arrangements. The band, which recently released the CD "Live at the Hillside Club", will play music that's influenced by afro-cuban rhythms, bossa novas, sambas, funk and jazz.
