Breaking Down a Script with Debbie Brubaker!
Class Description:
Debbie will be teaching the art of breaking down a script by Scene, Location, Actors, Props, Vehicles, Effects, and then will explain how to take those pieces and re-arrange them into a slightly altered version of the story - a version that can be shot!
This process will tell filmmakers who they need, when they need them, for how long and where. It's also the key process for answering the question of how much will it cost to make?!
Instructor Bio:
Debbie Brubaker is a seasoned producer in the world of indie feature films and the godmother of the San Francisco Bay Area independent movie arena. One of her recent production successes, an audience pleaser at Sundance 2009, was co-producing Peter Bratt's film La Mission.

Debbie is currently working on a documentary with Jennifer Seibel Newsom, Miss Representation, as well as an indie comedy/horror film, All About Evil (now in post) - directed by Joshua Grannell.
