Gloria!
Soli Deo Gloria presents Antonio Vivaldi's "Gloria" with string orchestra as it was originally intended - for women's voices! The award-winning 18 voice ensemble will also present Nata Lux and Ubi Caritas by Canadian composer Eleanor Daley, The Snow by Edward Elgar, and music by American composers Paul Basler, Andrea Ramsey, Tim Sarsany and Michelle Roueche. Enjoy an evening of sacred song that concludes with Vivaldi's spectacular "Gloria"!
In its seventh season, the ensemble is directed by Artistic Director Dr. Julie Carter who is also the Director of Worship and Music at First Presbyterian Church of Fresno, and Adjunct Faculty of Fresno Pacific University where she conducts the Women's Choir. The chamber orchestra features outstanding local musicians. Don't miss this stunning music to get you ready for the holiday season!
