Baroque Francais: Gala Concert at the Wilton House
A December tradition continues with our annual Winter concerts of Baroque music performed on period instruments. "Baroque Francais" will showcase the elegant chamber music of 18th century French composers, performed in the intimate upper passage of the colonial Wilton House. A meet-the-artists dessert reception follows the concert.
This year we will feature violinist Christina Day Martinson, concertmaster of Boston Baroque.
Joining Ms. Martinson will be Mary Boodell (Transverso Flute), Ulysses Kirksey (Baroque Cello and Viola da Gamba), Carsten Schmidt (Harpsichord), and CMSCVA Artistic Director James Wilson (Baroque Cello).
