Hometown Hootenanny: Legends of Nashville
Traditional country music will fill the stage as the KXA Classic Country Hometown Hootenanny salutes Legends of Nashville on Saturday, Oct. 11, 2014, at the Wagner Performing Arts Center in Monroe.
The Hometown Band pays tribute to country music greats like George Strait, Alabama, Keith Whitley and others, performing "Down Home," "If You've Got the Money," "Ace in the Hole" and a half-dozen other classic country hits.
The band will be joined by young vocalist Dakota Neuman, a fan favorite in his hometown of Monroe. Guest artists include Bucking Horse, also headquartered out of Monroe, and the Johnny-and-June duo of Jacksontown.
The Hometown Hootenanny is a family-friendly event, presenting live music and a variety of entertainers in a classic venue in downtown Everett.
Free parking is available adjacent to the auditorium, located at 639 W. Main St. In Monroe.
