Highway 33
The band, Highway 33, is named in tribute to the road connecting the West Side of the Central Valley. The band is comprised of six members; Tino Gomes vocals and congas, Frank Amaral guitar and vocals, Dave Keller, guitar and vocals, Dave Lebental Bass and vocals, Mark Karmelich keyboard and vocals and Tim Freund on drums.
Three members of Highway 33; Tino Gomes, Frank Amaral and Dave Keller are veteran musicians from the West Side of Stanislaus/Merced County, namely Gustine and Patterson. Tino Gomes is an original member of the popular 1970's band Magnolia and later Sneaky Pete, also featuring Frank Amaral.

The three other three members of Highway 33 are veteran musicians from the Los Angeles area featuring Dave Lebental, Mark Karmelich and Tim Freund.
