Saturday, November 22, Naked City Brewery & Taphouse and "Band in Seattle" present Portland singer/songwriter Anna Tivel in the seventh installment of the Naked Sessions acoustic concert series. Each Naked Sessions features a great Northwest band braiding songs together with stories about the music.

Join us for an unforgettable evening when Ann Tivel takes the stage to perform her wide-eyed, celestial folk songs. Doors at 7pm, show starts at 8pm. Seated general admission; full table service. $10 at Brown Paper Tickets.

Band in Seattle is the popular television program about NW musicians produced by the team at Victory Studios, Seattle's only full-service media production company. Band in Seattle airs Saturday nights at 11pm on channel CW11, and online at Qello.

Ann Tivel is a lyric-driven songwriter raised among the ferns and the farmland of Northern Washington. After moving to Oregon in 2007, she slowly discovered the friendly music scene as a fiddle player, and soon after picked up the guitar and began to write. Her latest album, Before Machines, was released in June 2014 on Portland's well-loved Fluff and Gravy Records. Her powerful, often melancholy songs are "filled with lines that intrigue and haunt"(David Steinberg). Anna is based in Portland and spends her time reading and writing and touring and fiddling and watching her dog try to catch flies by the window.
