Darmon Meader Quartet
The Darmon Meader Quartet will headline the 11th annual Maplewood Jazz Weekend. Their performance at 8:00PM at the Burgdorff Center, 10 Durand Road, Maplewood, NJ, on 10-24-09 is bookended by our own Dixieland jazz band, and our "jazz crawl" on Friday night, 10-23 in Maplewood village, where many of our fine restuarants and shops will feature live jazz, and by Jazz & Film presenting
Bobby H and Big Tea- Celebrating the Music of Bobby Hackett and Jack Teagarden, on Sunday, 10-25 at 7:00PM at the Burgdorff. Also included in the weekend festivities is a free childrens concert co-sponsored by radio station WBGO featuring the Steven Bernstein Band on Saturday, 10-24 at 12:30PM at the Maplewood Middle School. All in all, you won't find a better time or place to experience good jazz for people of all ages!
