Community Series presents The Classical Orchestra
The Greater Texoma Orchestra, comprised of students, faculty, and community members from across Northeastern Texas and Southeastern Oklahoma, will present its inaugural concert with music by Mozart (Impresario Overture), F. J. Haydn (Scherzando No. 3, and a new edition of a ceremonial march), and Beethoven (Symphony No. 1).
Members of the Greater Texoma Orchestra will also appear on other programs in the Community Series 2014-15 season: An Evening of Chamber Music by Mozart (February 21, 2015), 2015 Texoma Choral Festival (April 25, 2015), and Les Miserables in Concert (May 9, 2015).
All events to be performed on the Austin College Campus.
