St. George's Lagniappe Music Club
Monday's mean more music and movement
for PreK-2nd Grade musicians
at St. George's Episcopal School!

Musicollaborative Founder Kaya Martínez will facilitate a weekly 8-week series, September 29 - November 24, for St. George's Episcopal School students who would like the opportunity to experience more vocal and instrumental music and movement.  Divided into two 30-minute blocks--a PreK&K block (4:00) and a 1st&2nd grade block (4:45)--this  8-week series will take place in Ms. Johnson's music room. (Note:  No Lagniappe Music Club on October 13th.)

The course is designed for children to enjoy singing, moving, playing and creating together in a small, mixed-age peer group setting. All sessions integrate hand percussion and mallet percussion.  The carefully selected and diverse repertoire emphasizes positive vibrations drawn from Blues, Jazz, Afro-Caribbean and Latin grooves, as well as other soulful sounds of the Crescent City and South Louisiana.
