In this first in a series of monthly shows that represent a collaboration between Famous Monsters and Captured Aural Phantasy Theater, we will be showcasing live performances of stories pulled from a collection of vintage spooky radio shows. The evening also includes mid-century horror comic books presented in our signature variety show/ old radio show style. These aren't heart-warming tales ! Along with the multi-media radio story and comic book performances, the evening includes comedic acts, prizes and the finest live music. Spend the evening with Captured Aural Phantasy Theater for monsterous entertainment!
AN EVENING OF TERROR presents vintage chilling radio drama LIVE with original projections, live effects and unique music to compliment the stories. The show marks the first in our exclusive collaboration with Famous Monsters magazine to bring their brand of classic horror and sci-fi to life on stage! The show also marks Captured Aural Phantasy Theater's return to its home at El Cid after busy summer that included a panel and featured performance at Comic-Con in San Diego!
AN EVENING OF TERROR begins our new season and the next installment in our monthly residency at El Cid. We always start the show at 8:30pm, but doors open at 7:30 so audiences can begin with El Cid's brand new tapas menu and superb cocktails. Enjoy a variety show, music and booze!
