Jorge Luis, an unemployed married man with hopes to become a screenwriter and a movie Director, is dazzled by the beautiful Sissy at a movie premiere. It is the best night of his life, because just moments before the show the Director asked him to work in one of his stories. To impress Sissy (whose husband is on a trip) Jorge Luis introduces himself as a Director looking for a non-professional actress. Sissy has been dreaming of being discovered all her life. She feels very enthusiastic but she pretends not to care in order to catch him indefinitely. Nancy, Sissys best friend and advisor, is a crazy woman who is constantly questioning her own self-worth, living a tormented life because men want her only for sex. This way, both Jorge Luis and Sissy start falling in love with the imaginary creation they have made of each other in order to escape from their faded and grey realities.
Jorge Luis, un joven casado y desocupado, con aspiraciones de convertirse en un guionista y director de cine, se deslumbra al conocer a la bella Sissy en la premiere de una pelcula. Est en la major noche de su vida., pues momentos antes el director del film de estreno le ha pedido trabajar en una de sus historias. Para impresionar a Sissy, cuyo esposo est de viaje, se presenta como un director que busca a una actrz no professional. Ella, que toda su vida ha soado con ser descubierta se interesa vivamente, pero finge con el objetivo de poder atrapar definitivamente al jven. Su amiga Nancy, un ser enloquecido en perenne crisis de valores que vive atormentada porque solo despierta en los hombres inters sexual, es su mejor consejera. Se inicia as una relacin en la que ambos se enamoran de los fantasmas que han creado de s mismos para escaper de la existencia deslucida y gris que llevan.
Historia de perdedores que se han inventado una vida done el mito y el realismo se dan la mano, esta moderna tragicomedia cautiva al espectador desde las primeras imgenes. Un cine de fuerza y originalidad que hace rer pero tambin pensar.
