Havana, September 2000. Mauricio turns seventy years old. He is lonely and devastated by the unexpected loss of his wife. The story recounts events of the last twelve years of their marriage, where flashbacks highlight defining moments on the path towards the day of his loss. The personal dimensions and the social context of the last decade of 20th century Cuba are interlaced. This period was marked by deep political, economic and social changes that radically altered the ethical and human foundation of this generation.
- La Habana, septiembre del 2000. Mauricio (Rolando Brito) cumple setenta aos. Un hombre que ha quedado solo y devastado por la inesperada prdida de su esposa. La historia es narrada a travs de una revisin de los pasajes que fueron conformando los ltimos doce aos de su existencia, donde se conjugan retrospectivas y hechos presentes que abarcan los momentos claves que definieron su camino hacia ese da. Se entrelazan las dimensiones personales y el contexto social de la ltima dcada del siglo XX cubano, marcado por profundos cambios polticos, econmicos y sociales que removieron las bases ticas y humanas de estas generaciones que estrenaron el nuevo milenio.
