Spooktacular! Spooktacular! is the Mile High Freedom Band's annual musical cabaret featuring haunting tunes and spell binding shenanigans in celebration of Halloween. Doors open one hour prior to each performance for the Bizarre Bazaar, featuring a costume shop, spooky snacks and libations, and an opportunity to get into the spooky spirit. The matinee Bazaar will also feature face painting and a kid's costume contest.
The 3:00pm matinee will serve as an open dress rehearsal for the band allowing patrons to get a glimpse 'behind the curtain' and see how a production like Spooktacular all comes together. We will also invite any kids in the audience to come up and sit with the band during our interactive numbers!
Spooktacular! Spooktacular features exciting, magical music selections including Incantation and Dance, Night Dances, and VooDoo, as well as familiar excerpts from Scooby Doo, Murder She Wrote, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, The Lion King, and the musical Chicago. Folks will also recognize our two interactive numbers - The Time Warp and Thriller.
