Roots and Vines Presents Grandpa Banana in Concert
Roots and Vines House Concerts is proud to present: Grandpa Banana, live in concert on the Roots and Vines stage!
In 1965, Banana formed The Youngbloods with Joe Bauer, Jesse Colin Young, and Jerry Corbitt. The band moved from New York City to West Marin in the San Francisco Bay Area in 1967. Success followed as they became a trio and recorded their landmark album Elephant Mountain.
Once again, Banana brings his newest innovations to the stage, along with his brand new CD - I'll Do Anything For You. His band consists of some Bay Area noteables: Mary Shaw on the bass (David Thom Band), and David Thom on mandolin.
Every R&V ticket comes with picnic dinner and one glass of wine. Additional wine by the glass may be purchased, with a portion of the proceeds going to local charity. Seating is festival-style, so please bring blankets or low-back chairs.
