Linda Tillery and CHC Concert
Linda Tillery and the Cultural Heritage Choir is releasing their long-awaited new CD "Still We Sing, Still We Rise". This album is full of music that will make you laugh and sing and touch your heart. It is Linda Tillery at her best. The CHC has traveled the world to sell-out audiences since their last CD and they are back home with a joyful collection of songs that celebrate the musical heritage of the African diaspora. The CHC is a group of six voices that blend or standout to create a musical powerhouse that brings down the house. From plantation romps like Little Rosie, to Bob Marley's reggae - GetUp StandUp, to a Cuban contemporary satirical tune - Si Dios Fuera Negro (If God Were Black). This concert will celebrate Martin Luther King's Birthday and kick-start your new year. Don't miss it.
