A benefit for Bens Dream (The Sanfillippo Research Foundation) with two of the most respected young artists on the New England scene tonight. Ari is known as an irrepressibly prolific songwriter, and his shows invariably crackle with magical energy. Mieka masterfully weaves a tapestry of soul/blues/ rock/acoustic/alternative styles, inspiring comparisons to Ben Harper, Cat Power, Neko Case, Patty Griffin and other contemporaries.
