Blueberry Jam Session Concert
Brian Vegh is a classical violist, fiddler, and composer. Originally from Redding, he now lives in New York, where he studies a dual major in Viola performance and Composition. With an interest in both classical and folk traditions, Brian creates an often unique combination of the two. He has recently returned from a six-week backpacking trip in Ireland, where he listened and played in Irish Trad Sessions.
Brian will be joined by local friends, William and Tim Hemeon
William Hemeon began playing guitar and percussion at the age of twelve. He and Brian Vegh have been playing an assortment of Irish jigs, reels, and hornpipes for a little over two years. Recently, he has branched out into blues and folk tunes.
Tim Hemeon has played trumpet since 1975, placed 1st in the Berkley jazz festival in 1981. played on the Bethel orchestra, played trumpet and sang lead/backing vocals for the WeR1 Band. Tim currently sings backing vocals with local folk artist Sarah Hoxie. He also plays trumpet and sings backing vocals in the Joseph Blythe Band, an original local rock band.
