(Kerrville) ONE VOICE: A Tapestry of Global Music
Voci di Sorelle is an a cappella vocal ensemble of twelve women under the direction of founder, Ruth Morelend. Based in San Antonio, Texas, the group is renowned for exquisite performances that showcase the power, versatility, and beauty of womens voices.
Voci di Sorelles performances are eclectic, ranging from early music, sacred hymns, and traditional folk melodies to modern jazz, world music and classical arrangements. The 2009-2010 season will showcase works by female composers throughout the centuries from across the globe.
