Modernless & Rene Love + Blindness
You lucky people...have we got a night of great music for you!
Headlining are Modernless - who are basically a three piece based in London that makes noisy indy/underground/no wave/nu wave/synths/guitar music. Influences are Iggy/Suicide/No Wave/ESG/sonic white noise/space/black n white film. For this gig they are teaming up with Rene Love! Rene Love aka Bobbie Rene releases and performs music with Tom Bullock (Rub N Tug).
He is also part of California based psych rockers Silent Pictures, is in Clap Rules (signed to Slow Motion Records in Italy) and Miami based Group Happy Accidents, though he currently resides in Italy with his wife.
Expect mayhem, raucous activity, a few covers and just riotous rock'n'roll shenanigans!
Opening proceedings is the superb London based 3 piece Blindness. With more than a nod to Curve (Debbie Smith is their guitarist!) and using their powerful guitar sounds with the enigmatic stage presence of lead singer Beth, this is a band that will leave you needing to hear more!
With Modernless and their friends taking turns on DJ duties, this will be a memorable night!
