Americana II: Taking Shape
We continue our survey of American a capella choral music from last season, this time with a special focus on the works of William Walker and his peers. Featuring selections from Southern Harmony: both the 19th century Walker hymnal and minimalist composer William Duckworth's reimaginings of Walker's tunes in his 1980 collection. Plus more spirituals, folksongs and a visit to Alice in Wonderland!
Doors open at 4:30pm. Validated discount parking available at One Beacon Garage across the street from the chapel.
