African Expressions Dance Workshop

September 9 to October 28, 2009 (eight weeks)
Hedwig Dances offers the African Expression Dance Workshop with instructor Amaniyea Payne, Artistic Director of Muntu Dance Theatre. The workshop incorporates traditional African Dance, Caribbean Dance and African American culture into the classes. African Expressions provides an experience in natural rhythmic movements and expression. It awakens the senses through muscle toning, breathing exercises and dance movement, all to the accompaniment of live African drumming.
All levels welcome.
